Starting January 2026, I officially kicked off my culinary internship adventure with Compass Group at the Google Asia Pacific HQ in Singapore — which honestly feels like being dropped into a food universe where lunch is serious business and the kitchen runs like a high-speed train (except with more soy sauce and steam). It’s been exciting, a little intense, and surprisingly fun… because apparently feeding hundreds of people daily is just “normal” here.

My first month was all about the Asian Kitchen, where the wok never sleeps and the aroma is basically a daily invitation to eat early. From noodle bowls to rice plates, every service felt like a mini festival of flavors. One moment you’re learning, the next moment you’re plating like your life depends on it — and somehow, you start enjoying the chaos.

Then February came along and I got reassigned to Street / BRGR (yes, the Burger world 🍔). Suddenly it was sizzling patties, crispy fries, and street-food energy turned into a full-on operation. One month it’s Asian comfort classics, the next it’s burger madness — this internship is basically turning into my own culinary playlist on shuffle.

Now March is coming… and honestly, I have no idea where they’ll throw me next. Another kitchen? Another cuisine? Another delicious surprise? But if the past two months are any clue, it’s going to be fun, flavorful, and probably slightly chaotic (in the best way). Stay tuned — the kitchen journey continues.
